A New Chapter for Bonaire DailyFresh

Upgrades and Expansion on the Horizon

We are excited to share an important update with our valued customers and partners. Our facility, located on the LVV grounds, will undergo a major expansion, adding over 3,200 m2 to our current operations. This expansion includes the introduction of an advanced hydroponic system capable of producing around 900,000 heads of lettuce annually, among other fresh, leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens.

This initiative is not just about growth; it's a step forward in our mission to supply affordable, fresh produce to our local community, reducing the island's reliance on imported goods. By expanding our operations, we aim to bolster local employment and support the economy more robustly.

To facilitate these exciting developments, Bonaire DailyFresh will temporarily stop production and harvesting activities starting February 24, 2024, with plans to reopen in July 2024. This pause will allow us to implement the necessary upgrades and expansions to serve you better.

We understand the importance of continuous supply to our customers, and we are committed to resuming our operations with enhanced capacity and efficiency. We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you back to a bigger, better Bonaire DailyFresh in the summer of 2024.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Here's to a future of fresh, locally-grown produce for all!

Warm regards,

The Bonaire DailyFresh Team
